OUTREACH EDUCATION

Laurel Shastri, Ballet TN dancer & associate director, leading a Hamilton County school residency.

Outreach Education programs attract diverse groups who share in the joy and discipline that dance offers. Residencies in Hamilton County schools provide school teachers and their students with a new vehicle for learning and art appreciation. Branch classes serve preschool-age children in community-based settings. A continuing partnership with Siskin Children's Institute integrates learning and dance for children with disabilities and their typically developing peers.
Ballet Tennessee maintains two branch locations for after school classes at Mountain Arts Community Center (Signal Mountain) and Good Shepherd School (Lookout Mountain).
